Tim Franklin, MBA - Managing Director
Tim's pet subject is organizational culture and change. During his career working for an American Multinational, a UK PLC, a venture capital backed start-up, an employers association, together with two of his own businesses, Tim initially developed a curiosity concerning the working 'atmosphere' within businesses, and how this appeared to affect the way they operated, and performed. After leading major change programmes himself, Tim embarked upon a masters degree, and is currently studying organisational culture & performance at Doctoral level. Tim works with organisations to assess and change their culture, helping to create higher performing working environments. Tim is also a senior associate of Navisys International, a leading transformational change consultancy.

Sian earned her doctorate from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Her doctoral research focused on the linkages between innovation and corporate culture.Sian is the managing director of ICSC Ltd, an organisation that develops solutions for companies wishing to enhance their innovative capacity through adjustments of the corporate cultures present within the firm. ICSC Ltd has a close relationship with Business Link Kent, working on new Organisational Change Projects with a number of other firms covering areas including, Personal Profiling, Marketing, Lean Manufacturing, Process Mapping, Change Management, Industry Structures, Value Chains and Transformational Mapping
Her academics interests are continued through supervision of DBA and doctoral candidates at Anglia Polytechnic University and a consortium between the Pacific University of Hawaii and Southern Cross University in New South Wales, Australia. She is also an adjunct lecturer for Macquarie University, lecturing on Cross Cultural Management on MBA programs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Sydney.

John's career has embraced customer facing roles, in a variety of client management organisations. Being exposed to many hundreds of organisations fuelled John's interest in viewing good organisations as a combination of robust systems and appropriate organisational culture. John is very adept at analysing the prevailing systems within organisations, to determine if they are able to take the organisations to where they want to be, or if there are any minefields along the way!John is currently conducting Doctoral research into organisational systems as enablers of business performance.

Colin was educated at University College London where he obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Applied Physics and a Ph.D in Electronic Engineering. He is a director of Petts Consulting Limited, before moving into consultancy, he worked in high-tech manufacturing and service industries for over 20 years. During this time he had a variety of management roles including research and development, product engineering, operations management. He has board level experience in medium-sized businesses and extensive experience of business restructuring, unit integration and the associated change management. Recently the primary focus of his activities has been concerns with company-wide improvement programmes based on business process re-engineering.
